Blessings In This House

Oh, we gather here in peace today

Giving glory, yes we pray

I walk through the doorway and I feel the grace

A foundation built on love in this holy place

From the sunlight in the morning to the evening dew

I thank You for the walls that keep the storm outside

I thank You for the mercy where my heart can hide

It’s a sanctuary built for You, my Lord, my home

Blessings in this house, feel the Spirit rise

I see Your goodness right before my eyes

From the roof to the floor, let Your love pour down

In this sacred dwelling, let Your praise resound

Everything is better by Your design

I sit at the table and I break the bread

Remembering the many words that You have said

Every room is filled with laughter and a thankful song

In this house of faith, I know that I belong

Though the world is shifting, here I stand in light

Guided by Your presence through the darkest night

Yes, You’ve provided shelter for my weary soul

Making every broken piece finally feel whole
