Burdens Are Lifted

Jesus, You are my Deliverer.

Every burden is lifted in Your presence!

I came before You with a heavy heart,

Broken inside, not knowing where to start.

You called my name and wiped away my tears,

Now I can smile because You're always near.

You broke the chains that held my soul,

You made this weary sinner whole.

When I call Your holy name,

Every mountain bows in shame.

Your mighty hand has set me free,

Now Your joy is all I see.

Burdens are lifted at the feet of Jesus,

Sorrow is gone, my soul has found release.

Every yoke is broken by His power,

His love is giving me new peace.

Burdens are lifted, chains are broken,

By the blood of the risen King.

I'll testify of His goodness forever,

To Jesus Christ my praise I'll bring.

You turned my mourning into joyful dance,

You gave me hope, You gave me another chance.

No condemnation, no fear remains,

You washed me clean from every stain.

Your mercy flows like endless rain,

Forever I will bless Your name.

Every chain is falling,

Every prison shaking.

Jesus is my victory,

Every heart He's changing.

Healing for the broken,

Freedom for the captive.

When the Savior steps into the room,

Nothing stays the same.

Burdens are lifted at the feet of Jesus,

Every mountain has to move.

I am free because He lives forever,

His unfailing love is true.

Burdens are lifted, hope is rising,

Darkness cannot overcome.

I'll sing His praise through every generation,

Until my race on earth is done.
