When the weight gets too heavy

And I can't see the light

I wake up every morning feeling empty inside

Smiling through the pain but there's nowhere to hide

Social media scrolling while my heart's breaking down

Everybody's winning but I'm wearing this frown

Twenty-something struggles got me questioning why

But I lift my hands up to the One in the sky

God hold me through the night

When my mind won't let me rest

You're my anchor You're my light

When I'm drowning in this mess

I don't have all the answers

But I know You understand

So I'm placing all my trust

In the power of Your hands

yes Lord

Therapy and prayers mixing tears with my faith

Trying to find purpose in this mental health maze

Parents don't get it and my friends can't relate

But Jesus knows my struggle He's been carrying the weight

Some days I'm barely breathing some days I'm doing fine

But through every single season His love is my lifeline

thank You Jesus
