Overflowing Grace

It's not by power, not by might

But by His Spirit, shining bright

David was a shepherd boy, tending to his flock

God saw his heart and raised him to the top

Hannah cried in bitterness, no child to call her own

Grace gave her Samuel, she was never alone

Joseph in the prison, forgotten and betrayed

But grace lifted him up, made him second in the land

Overflowing grace, it's all I need

Esther was an orphan, chosen for such a time

God's grace gave her courage to save her people's lives

Daniel in the lion's den, facing certain death

Grace shut the mouths of lions, gave him one more breath

Noah built an ark when the world thought he was mad

Grace preserved his family from the judgment that came down

Overflowing grace, it's all I need
