Grace Found Me

Oh, Lord, thank You for the grace that found me

I was lost, but now I'm found, hallelujah

I was wandering out in the wilderness deep

Lost in the shadows, with promises I couldn't keep

I was shackled by the weight of my own sin

Didn't know where to go or where to begin

But Your mercy reached down to the valley floor

You opened up the hinges of heaven's door

Your grace found me, picked me up from the dust

Now in Your holy name is where I put my trust

You took my broken heart and You made it whole

Strengthen me, Father, to carry out Your will

When the road is rocky and the mountain is still

I can't do this work with my own human strength

I need Your power to go to every length

Keep me from the things that would pull me away

Help me to stay focused on You every single day

I'm still alive to preach the Gospel truth

From the days of my elder years back to my youth

To the King of all glory, my heart I will bring

Strengthen me always to labor in Your field
