ONE OF THE EASIEST WAYS TO RECEIVE YOUR MIRACLE IS TO BELIEVE YOUR MIRACLE*
2 Chronicles 20:20
"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."
Introduction
God performs miracles in many ways, but one of the biblical principles He has established is that He often works through His chosen servants. Throughout Scripture, those who honored God's prophets and believed their messages received divine intervention, healing, breakthrough, and restoration. Believing in a prophet is not replacing faith in God; it is trusting God's chosen messenger and the word God speaks through them.
1. God Speaks Through His Prophets
Amos 3:7
"Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets."
God reveals His plans and instructions through His servants. Those who listen and obey position themselves for divine blessings.
2. Faith in the Prophet Releases Miracles
2 Kings 5:1–14
Naaman was healed of leprosy only after he believed and obeyed the instruction given by Prophet Elisha. His miracle came through obedience to the prophetic word.
Lesson: Obedience to God's instruction, delivered through His prophet, can unlock miracles.
3. The Widow of Zarephath Believed Elijah
1 Kings 17:8–16
Although she had only a little flour and oil, she obeyed Elijah's instruction. As a result, God sustained her family throughout the famine.
Lesson: Faith in God's prophetic word can bring supernatural provision even in times of lack.
4. The Shunammite Woman Honored Elisha
2 Kings 4:8–17, 32–37
She recognized Elisha as a man of God, honored him, and later received the miracle of a son. When that son died, the same prophet became the instrument God used to restore his life.
5. Jesus Could Not Do Many Miracles Where He Was Not Honored
Matthew 13:57–58
Unbelief hinders miracles. Where there is no honor or faith, the flow of God's power is often resisted.
*How to Benefit from Your Prophet*
Believe the Word of God your prophet teaches.
Pray for your prophet instead of criticizing.
Obey godly instructions that align with Scripture.
Honor the office God has given him.
Remain faithful and patient while expecting God's intervention.
NOTE:
Believing in a prophet must always be rooted in faith in God. A true prophet points people to Christ, not to himself. Every prophetic word should be consistent with the Bible (1 John 4:1; Acts 17:11).
*Conclusion*
God is still performing miracles today. As you believe in the Lord, remain open to the biblical guidance He gives through His faithful servants. As Jehoshaphat declared:
"Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper." (2 Chronicles 20:20)
