Easter, Why This Way?

Easter,

Did you ever see the love I had for you?

For 12 years I stood by you when people neglected you.

I chose you and your kids.

I loved them with all my heart and raised them as my own.

God says He is the Father to the fatherless and a husband to the widows.

So why, Easter, after all this time and all this care for the children, are you paying me back this way?

Who stood for you all these years,

only for you to choose to hate me like this?

What wrong did I do to you? I’m asking honestly.

The other day I was sending you money,

and the only message I got back was that you were leaving.

I asked you to wait for me, but you refused to listen.

I sent people to talk to you. Nothing worked.

I even asked your pastor to check on you. Still nothing.

I came back home in pain, only to find you were gone.

Why did you do this?

In every problem people talk, but was this your plan all along?

Karma is real, and God sees everything.

When we think we’re done, God brings us back to our senses.

I’ve been waiting with no communication, and I don’t know what you want.

Please be honest and tell me.

If it’s over, then let’s accept it. No one can force love where there is none.

I will miss you, because you were part of me.

But remember: if this was a long plan, God will vindicate me
