Verse 1:
When love is given, wild and free,
And welcomed in sincerity,
A sacred circle starts to grow,
An endless, rising, radiant glow.
The giver blooms, the guest is blessed,
And both find multiplying rest.
Verse 2:
His love is perfect, sweet, and vast,
A joy that holds us to the last.
Though in the dark we lose our sight,
He speaks to guide our minds aright—
In greening fields, a answered prayer,
Or comfort whispered through the air.
Verse 3:
Yet, consumed by selfish pain,
We ask for signs and we complain;
Like the elder brother, blind with grief,
Our searching blocks our own relief.
But the grandest art of saving grace
Is Christ, who took the broken's place.
Verse 4:
For here the secret paradox lies:
When we look up to heaven's skies,
And lose ourselves in loving Him,
The fading light is no longer dim.
To love the Lord with heart and mind
Is how His hidden love we find.
Verse 5:
We cannot give just what we'd take;
True love must bend for the other’s sake.
So ask your loved ones, ask the Lord,
To teach the language of accord:
For when we love as He requests,
The cycle turns, and all are blessed.
