Blessed is the man, hallelujah

Who walks in Your ways, yes Lord

Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in counsel of the wicked

Doesn't stand where sinners stand or sit in the seat of scoffers

But his delight is in the law of the Lord

Meditating day and night on Your holy word

He's like a tree planted by the rivers of water

Bearing fruit in season, leaves that never wither

Prosperity in all he does, glory

The righteous shall stand, amen

Like a tree by the water, rooted in Your love

But the wicked are not so, they're like chaff in the wind

Blown away by Your judgment, no foundation within

They will not stand in the day of reckoning

Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous gathering

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, yes Lord

But the way of the wicked will perish, hallelujah

So I choose Your path, I choose Your truth

Planted by Your waters, bearing eternal fruit
