We celebrate her life today.
On this day of remembrance, we lift our hands,
Walking in the grace of your promised lands.
Mother, you showed us how to stand in faith,
Now you're resting in a holy, beautiful place.
We look to the heavens, through tears in our eyes,
Knowing you are singing past the beautiful skies.
Hallelujah, she is home with the Lord,
Singing with the angels in perfect accord.
No more pain, no more sorrow, only pure grace,
As she looks upon her sweet Savior's face.
Amen, yes Lord, her legacy lives on,
Till we meet again in the heavenly dawn.
Your prayers still guide us through the darkest night,
A shining example of God's holy light.
January 16th, we honor your name,
And praise the Almighty from whom blessings came.
You ran your race, you kept the faith so true,
