God’s assignment before my birth

Left in the lonely places, with silent tears to weep.

Every time they tried to crush me, to bury who I am;

A Sermon in the Silence"

Make me know your ways

I tried to share my burden, to seek a little light But the questions that I carry just turn into a sermon in the night So I walk this path in silence, no roadmap in my hand Just trusting in the Father, who walks the shifting sand The pastors and the brethren have turned their backs on me But You are my direction, and my only Company

God, reveal to me Your ways, in a simpler way Make the path so clear, so I don't delay Take away the shadows, the confusion of my mind In the quiet of Your presence, is the purpose that I find.I will trust You in the valley, I will trust You on the road Cast my cares upon Your shoulders, and lay down every load.

Ekuthuleni kobukhona Bakho, inhloso engiyitholayo.

Ngiyokwethemba esigodini, ngithembe wena endleleni

Phonsa izinkathazo zami emahlombe Akho, ubeke phansi wonke umthwalo.

You’re the God of comebacks, You have my back! The assignment is still burning, the calling is still alive.

I will walk in Your direction, I will surely thrive!

Lead me through the desert, lead me through the strife.

Show me Your ways, teach me Your paths I leave behind the hatred, and step into Your grace
