A song made by Udehani Chinedu
Ndi-gboo-ancient people
We are as ancient as the earth.
The world calls us Ndigbo,
The king of Black race,
The king of rising sun.
The ancient people,
Born on the cradle of pride,
Wrapped on leopard's skin,
God's chosen people,
Set part for geometric progression.
Whatever we touch becomes gold, wherever we visit ,we bring light, progress, prosperity.
Anywhere you see prosperity, goodwill and light,Igbo man dey there.
We also create enemies,hatred,jeolous.
No be our fault,na God bless us from the begining of this world.
The sun rises in the east,we fly while others are still sleeping.
We see the birth of the sun on the horizon, each day it rises with wings of blessings-no be our fault,na God bless us from the begining of this world.
We are men with speed and strength of leopard.we hunt for wealth,we dont wait for it.we hunt for it from the hilltop of the east, down to the valley in the west,we go north,we conquer desert and forest.
We are everywhere, anywhere wealth is in any part of this world, the ancient people must get there with pride.
Be it in the Amazon forest,
We dey there
Ndi Igbo-kwe nu.
Even,in the northpole ,we dey there, anywhere money dey-we dey there.
We pride in speed, strength and hunting intellect,no distance too far us,no height too high, nor valley too deep for us.
Born to spread and succeed in academics, dominate in commerce and industries.
Ndi Igbo kwe nu,
Ndi igbo kwe zuo nu
Iyaaaaaaaa!
We are gifted to unlock wealth,
Count what cant be count,
Go places others dread to tread.
We believe in mutual respect for everyone.
We are highly religious,
We believe in our Chi and every Igbo man his own Chi.
We are graceful in strength, quick in speed,
Fast in intellect, humble in wealth, powerful in commerce, strong in industries, mindful in science and technology.
Ndi Igbo kwenu,
Ndi igbo kwenu,
Ndi Igbo kwe zuo nu!
The sun rises in the east,
We also create enemies,hatred,jeolous.
No be our fault,na God bless us from the begining of this world.
Anywhere money dey
We dey there,
Anywhere life and light dey,
Igbo man must dey there,
We no dey fear death nor prison, because our Chi dey mount guard.
