This is me, saying anything u are doing don't give up,that small business will grow, trust the process, ignore the noise.
When I look back at where I started, I can't help but say, God has been faithful.
After school, I found myself asking the same question many graduates ask: "What next?" Everyone expected me to find a job, maybe teach in a private school or work in an office. But deep down, I knew I wanted something different. I wanted to build something of my own. I wanted to become an entrepreneur.
The journey wasn't easy.
There were days I opened my shop and didn't make a single sale.
There were days I didn't even have transport fare to get to the shop, yet I still found a way because I refused to give up.
There were days I had no money for lunch because I hadn't sold anything all day.
Those moments were painful, but they taught me resilience. They strengthened my faith and reminded me that every successful story has chapters that no one sees.
I refused to stop learning.
I trained as a makeup artist and opened a small makeup studio. Although I enjoyed makeup, it wasn't bringing the growth I had hoped for.
Instead of giving up, I kept learning. I learned how to make fascinators. I learned wig making. I learned wig installation. I explored different skills, searching for where I truly belonged. Each one taught me something valuable and helped me grow.
Eventually, I realized something important: I couldn't do everything forever. If I wanted to build a strong brand, people needed to know me for something specific.
That was when I returned to what had always been closest to my heart—skincare.
Skincare wasn't just another business idea. It was my first love. It was the one thing I genuinely enjoyed learning about, talking about, and helping people with. It wasn't just about selling products; it was about helping people feel confident in their own skin.
Today, when people think of skincare, I want them to think of Commy's Touch Cosmetics.
Looking around my shop today, I don't just see products on the shelves. I see answered prayers. I see countless sacrifices. I see tears that God turned into testimonies.
Most importantly, I see the trust my customers have placed in me. That trust means more than anything because it wasn't built overnight—it was earned through consistency, honesty, and God's grace.
I'm still growing. I'm still learning. I'm still dreaming.
But one thing I know for certain is this:
The God who carried me through the days of no sales, no transport fare, and no lunch is the same God who continues to open doors I never imagined.
This is only the beginning.
