Standing Tall

A song made by Jude Danjuma

Standing Tall

A song made by Jude Danjuma

Oya, standing tall, standing tall

Grace don find me, I no fall

E beat me down, but I rise up

Broken bones cannot define me

Friends turn foes, dem attack me

But grace carry me, ehen

Wahala come like rain, scatter my peace

But I no go kneel down, shey you dey mad?

Hardship and lack try kill my vibe

But omo, I dey strong, I dey fight

Betray come from people wey I trust

Pain sharp sharp, but I no bitter

Challenges come like wave after wave

But I no go drown, I swim to shore

Standing tall, standing tall

Grace and mercy carry me

Standing tall, standing tall

Success finally reach me

Broken, beaten, but I no fall

Greatness on the way, e go come

Standing tall, standing tall

I no go give up, not today

Forsaken by the ones I hold dear

But heaven never leave my side

Attack come sharp, dem try pull me down

But my ginger too strong, omo

I dey on the path, the path to the top

Not there yet, but I see the light

Grace cover me like garment

Success dress me in glory

I achieve what people say impossible

Now dem dey talk, dem dey watch

But I know the road don long, sha

I keep walking, I keep pressing

Amazing grace, you don change my story

Standing tall, standing tall

Grace and mercy carry me

Standing tall, standing tall

Success finally reach me

Broken, beaten, but I no fall

Greatness on the way, e go come

Standing tall, standing tall

I no go give up, not today

No dulling, no retreat

I dey here for the long game

Every scar tell a story

Every pain make me stronger

Grace found me when I lose hope

Now I shine bright, I shine far

Standing tall, standing tall

Standing tall, e choke!

Grace and mercy, amazing grace

Common questions
How will my song appear on Spotify?
Songs are released under the Afrobits label — the artist credit reads "Afrobits feat. <your songwriter name>" on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and every other platform. This lets us handle the platform relationships, rights paperwork and payouts on your behalf, while you get full songwriter credit on every release.
How are royalties split?
Streaming royalties are split 80% to you, 20% to Afrobits. Our 20% covers the distribution infrastructure, royalty collection across 150+ platforms, rights administration and payout handling. Your 80% songwriter share comes to you each payout cycle once platforms report their streams (typically every 1–2 months).
How much do I earn per stream?
Each platform pays a different per-stream rate — Spotify pays roughly $0.003–$0.005, Apple Music around $0.01, YouTube Music about $0.002. Earnings depend on listener country, subscription type and how often your song is played. Your 80% share is calculated on the gross streaming revenue, with no cap — the more plays, the more you earn.
When and how do I get paid?
Streaming platforms report royalties to us about 2–3 months after the streams happen. We then pay your 80% share out by bank transfer, PayPal or mobile money once you cross a $10 minimum balance. Statements ship by email each payout cycle so you can see exactly what each platform paid and how the split was applied.
Who owns the song — me or Afrobits?
You keep songwriter ownership. Songs are released under the Afrobits label as "Afrobits feat. <your name>", and Afrobits acts as the distributor on the recording — that's what enables our 80/20 split and the platform delivery. The songwriter credit and your moral rights to the work stay with you, and you can request a takedown by emailing hello@afrobits.ai.
What does the annual subscription cover?
Your annual subscription creates a dedicated artist profile for you and distributes your first song to 150+ platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon, Deezer, Tidal & more). Each additional song you upload after that costs just in your local currency — no cap on how many you add. The 15% royalty share is separate — that covers ongoing rights admin, royalty collection and payout handling. If you cancel, your songs are taken down at the end of the period and you keep every payout earned up to then.
How long until my song is live?
Most platforms publish within 1–3 weeks of submission. Spotify and Apple Music are usually fastest (a few days), while smaller platforms can take longer. We email you the moment each major platform confirms your song is live.
How does income from TikTok / Reels work?
With the Social Media Pack, your song lands inside TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook music libraries. Every time a creator picks your song for a video, you earn a share of the platform's creator-music pool. Payouts work the same way as streaming — they show up in your distributor account each month.
Why do I need my real legal name?
Streaming platforms require a real legal songwriter name so royalty collection societies can pay you. Your artist name (the name fans see on Spotify) can be anything — only the songwriter credit needs to match your ID. Without it your song will be rejected at submission.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Reply cancel distribution on WhatsApp or email hello@afrobits.ai any time. Your song stays live until the end of the paid period, then it's taken down from streaming platforms. You keep every royalty earned up to that point.
Still have questions?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or email hello@afrobits.ai — we usually reply within a few hours.
